William O Morgan

Mr. William O. "Bill" Morgan, 79, of Pinebrook Drive, Morrisonville, NY passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, VT. He was born in Norwalk, CT on February 14, 1939 the son of Dr. William O. and Ruth M. (Gandrup) Morgan. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He owned and operated Northway Volkswagen, Inc. and Bill Morgan Honda. Bill served this community as President of the CVPH Medical Center Foundation and the executive board of the CVPH Medical Center, President of Clinton Community College Foundation, President of the North Country Chamber of Commerce and President of The Development Corp. Bill was Irishman of the year in 1999 and he received numerous community awards and acknowledgments. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Thomas Morgan. Bill is survived by many close friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Morrisonville Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory may be made to Clinton Community College Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
