William Rondeau

Plattsburgh William L. "Big Bill" Rondeau, 56, of Abenaki Road, Plattsburgh passed away on Saturday October 17, 2009 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on July 10, 1953 the son of Oril and Elizabeth (Joyal) Rondeau. Bill worked for many years as a truck driver for Huntley Trucking in Plattsburgh. He enjoyed racing, hunting, camping with family and friends, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He was a former member of the South Plattsburgh Fire Department. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Daniel Rondeau, Sr. Bill is survived by his wife and life long friend Deborah Rondeau, two step sons; Colby LaMonda and his companion Joanie of Plattsburgh, Chris Parent and wife Toni of Peru, three step grandchildren; Katrina McKee, McKenize LaMonda and Randi Ebersole. Two brothers; Randy Rondeau and his companion Katherine Hill of Plattsburgh and Wayne Rondeau and his companion Harriett Martin of Peru, and a sister Janice Lee of Plattsburgh, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 22, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 23, 2009 at 11:00 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, burial will following in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory maybe made to his family.
