Wilma M. Guillily, 82, of Slosson Road in West Chazy, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 peacefully at her home. She was born in Churubusco on May 13, 1936 the daughter of the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Ashe) Spoor.
Wilma enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, playing golf and basically anything that had to do with being outdoors. In the winter she loved baking her secret recipe dinner rolls while listening to country music and cross country skiing. In the summer she loved spending time boating on Lake Champlain with her family, picking berries from her raspberry bushes to make homemade jelly and pies, and push mowing all three acres of her yard.
For years, come Thanksgiving and Christmas, Wilma hosted large family dinners. Her house was loud and full of people and Wilma loved it that way.
Survivors left to cherish memories of Wilma include her husband of 56 years, whom she loved so much, Anthony Guillily. Also surviving is her son Gregg Guillily, daughters Tracy Girard (Kevin), Victoria Monaco and Stephanie Latinville. Grandchildren surviving Wilma are Kala Guillily, Dillon Duffina, Collin Latinville, Nolan Latinville, Alyson Girard, Emily Girard, Alyssa Latinville and Evan Latinville.
