Winifred V Carron

Winifred V. Carron, 78, of State Route 37, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone. She was born in Saranac on August 1, 1941, the daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Ayotte) Miner.
Winifred was employed by the NYS Department of Corrections for over 32 years and retired as a Lieutenant.
She is survived by her husband of over 62 years Robert Carron, her children; Anna Marie Carron Perez, Christopher John Carron, Betty Jean Carron Higgins, two brothers, John Miner and Clement Miner , her grandchildren; Kristen Higgins and Brandon Higgins, Katherine and Thomas Carron, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, a son Robert Joseph Carron Jr., five brothers, Henry, Bernard, Clarence , Elrick and James Miner and two sisters; Gladys Collins and Madeline Pellerin.
Due to current restrictions, an attendance Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday , June 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
