Mrs. Yvette E. Hebert, 92, of Plattsburgh, passed away on April 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Iles de la Madeline, PQ, Canada on November 2, 1925, the daughter of Alpide and Aldee (Renaud) Turbide. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter's Church, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She'll especially be missed for her cooking and baking for her family and friends. In her spare time she often could be found walking, testing her luck at bingo, and going to the casino. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will always remember her as a loving, caring and unforgettable Grandma. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gilles M. Hebert, her siblings; Edmond, Jeffrey, Léopold, Marie-Jeanne, Léotine, and Emilia. She is survived by her children; Gilles A. Hebert and wife Donna, Monique Trudeau and husband "Chuck", John Hebert and wife Barbara, Sylvia Manor and husband Wayne, Lucé Hebert and companion Glenn Olds, and Michel Hebert and companion Eileen Haley, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings; Hilda Dagenais , Lucette Labelle, Raymond Turbide and wife Doris, sister-in-law Yvonne Turbide, brother-in-law Albert Renaud, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Samual F. Vilas Home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff on R7 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center.
