Betty V Pavone

Betty V. Pavone, 93, of Olivetti Place, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Saturday February 20, 2021 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in West Chazy, NY on May 27, 1927 the daughter of Frederick and Anna Mae (Pombrio) Trombly. Betty graduated from D’Youville Academy and later Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School. She married Arnold Pavone at St. John’s Church on October 26, 1947. Betty worked alongside her husband at the well-known Arnie’s Restaurant on Margaret Street in Plattsburgh. She was a parishioner of St. John’s Church.
Betty is survived by her children; Richard Pavone and his wife Suzette, her daughter-in-law, Cindi Pavone, Glenn Pavone and his wife Terrianne, Tim Pavone and his wife Judy, Arnie Jr., and his wife Beth, 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and a son, Neal.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Church. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
