Robert L Daust

Robert L. “Bob” Daust, 93, of Morrisonville, passed Monday, June 13, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on April 7, 1929 the son of Henry and Evelyn (Duval) Daust.

He enjoyed fixing things, especially clocks. He was a skilled in the kitchen, cooking meals for his family. Bob owned and operated Daust Autobody and took great pride in his work fixing vehicles. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gladys (Eldred), his children; Kathy Reyell and her husband Frederick, Candy Collins, his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and his feline-companion Snoopy.

He is predeceased by his parents, his sons Floyd Eldred and Robert “Bobby” Daust, and his siblings; Russell, Clarence, Jeanette, and Ralph.

There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:00pm at St. Alexander’s Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA.
